RUDE CREW 2 OUT THIS WEEK
Share
I am so excited that this week on Nov 10 we release 'Rude Crew 2' the album Martin and I have been working on for two years now. We started with a whole batch of new songs, shaped them and then called in the core band of Pete Gray, Lloyd Gyi, Nicole and Gary Brown to work them up.
After that Tony Cooper came on board as producer and we began to assemble the songs reaching out to some of Australia's finest country players Ian Simpson and Clare O'Meara to polish them till they shone. I'm very proud of the result but of course it's you the listener who will determine if the songs have a continued life.
The songs cover a variety of territory. There are foot-stomping, barn-shaking joyous rockers (Ring A Ding/Ain't So Hot Being So Damn Cool/Too Quick Woman In A Too Small Town), balanced with delicate emotional heartbeat and heartbreak tunes (This Old Pump/I Run To Her Arms To Get Away/I Will Still Be Here/Tears In The Mirror).

There are rootsy outback offerings (Don't Bend It Till It Breaks/Gal From Kal) and optimistic can't get it out of your head country-pop (I Won't Stop Looking/Indian Ocean Summer Sunday).
There is even the psychedelic tongue-lashing All The Sand In Cairo where Ian Simpson plays some out of this world banjo, Clare's violin cuts like a knife and Tony Cooper's crazed rhythm creates a Pharaoh dance to charm a cobra into your ex-lover's bed.

The wonderful Mark Gould, film director, has generously given us his services to create some great film clips and I'll let you know as they hit You Tube and elsewhere.
You will find the album on Spotify, Apple, Amazon and all stops in between. Please give it a listen and if you like what you hear, urge a friend to try it too.
We made this album without any expectation of a financial return. We made it for people to enjoy and I sincerely hope you do.
